Here is the rally speech I gave at the No Jab No Play protest rally in Fremantle on 28 May 2017. The Western Australian government is planning to sign up to the Federal government’s recommendation to ban all children from childcare centres who have not received the full schedule of ~25 doses of 16 vaccines. This means that parents will not be able to choose how many vaccines their children receive.
The government’s schedule of vaccines has expanded continually over the last two decades. At the same time chronic illness has increased 5-fold in children, including autism, allergies, asthma and autoimmune diseases etc, and this correlation has never been investigated by the government. Therefore, this is not an evidence-based policy and population health is at risk with mandatory and coercive vaccination policies. This speech describes the two myths that these policies are founded on:
i) that “vaccine-created” herd immunity controlled infectious diseases and
ii) that vaccine adverse-events are rare.
