Dr. James Lyons Weiler is a research scientist who has worked for many years at the Pennsylvania State University and authored several books on significant public health issues. He is the founder of the Institute of Pure and Applied Knowledge (IPAK) and the Chief-Editor of the journal Science, Public Health and the Law. He also hosts a radio program called Unbreaking Science.

If Science is a way for humanity to know ourselves, the world, and the universe, then scientists are the sense organs by which Science becomes aware of new information that updates background knowledge. Cross-discipline training by Scientists is increasingly rare, and indeed, the act of doing a master’s or PhD research-based thesis for many scientists has become something of an exercise is hedge-trimming; adding or subtracting a tiny lead of a tiny branch of a specialized area of knowledge. One might, and some have, wondered why the basic nature of vaccine science and how it has been and is conducted is an appropriate topic of a dissertation in Humanities and Social Inquiry. The denialists of the world, the Pharma apologists, seize upon anything and everything, no matter how superficial to attempt to discredit the work of a person that threatens their trillion-dollar worldwide market. If that fails, they attempt with scorn, disdain, and ridicule to discredit the person doing the work.
Dr. Wilyman has been tempered by the fire of both of these mechanisms, and her work in this book has withstood the test of time. I became what I and hundreds of thousands of people now call “Vaccine Risk Aware” in 2015, writing my own book, entitled “Cures vs. Profits”, which touched on 15 major topics that I thought were important and interesting enough. My question was “how can medicine bring forward successful changes toward effective medical practices against the pressure to find the most profitable practices”. I added a chapter on vaccines, which, combined with the chapter I wrote on ADHD, changed my professional life – and my view of the Pharmaceutical industry – forever.
In my view, any objective scientist worthy of the name who takes a disinterested, unbiased and objective look at the way vaccine safety science is conducted will come to the same conclusions that Dr. Wilyman, myself, and many, many others have come to independently. These conclusions include that financial issues – conflicts of interest, opportunities for massive profits from “blockbuster” pharmaceutical products, including vaccines – cause people to lose their objectivity and to conduct and interpret studies which in any other realm of Science, on any other topic, would be seen at best as weak, “soft”, correlational studies incapable of testing hypotheses of causality. This leaves the population at risk of suffering the real consequences, which of course in the case of vaccines comes, via Pharma-coerced legislation in countries around the world, with no liability, and no opportunity in many countries for compensation due to vaccine injury.
The emergence of a new norm of universal chronic illness that feeds the calls for Pharmaceutical solutions can, in my mind, given the data I’ve seen, be attributed directly to the way vaccinations are formulated and the lack of any real regulation over that process. For example, for US FDA approval, only the proteins in vaccines have to be dosage safety tested – and even that is not done. Vaccine manufacturers can literally put any chemical they want to in vaccines and the FDA has nothing to say about it.
There is no – zero – causality science on the question of interactions between, say, mercury from Thimerosal in the influenza vaccines and aluminum in other vaccines, but both are routinely administered at the same time, and in many cases, with >1 aluminum-containing vaccine at a time. Queries to the FDA on doses of aluminum and mercury are met with referrals back to CDC, which is now known to have conducted corrupted study after corrupted study on the question of association – not causality – between the MMR vaccine and autism.
In spite of the fact that the CDC website proclaims, as of this writing (7 December 2019) that “Vaccines Do Not Cause Autism”, no reliable studies exist that have tested the causal link between autism and every vaccine recommended by the CDC schedule. At this time, my own peer-reviewed research points to a stunning conclusion that in the first seven months of life, infants on the pediatric vaccination schedule recommended by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (US CDC) can be expected to spend over 70% of their days in whole-body aluminum toxicity, compared to Dr. Paul Thomas’ “Vaccine Friendly Plan”, which leads to only 5% of days in aluminum toxicity, which is by any measure better but still too many.
Whatever the intentions of the perpetrators of fraud, Science has been blinded by false narratives and kept in the dark on vaccine risk. Given that forces other than objective Science came to determine this terrifying situation in which the health of the world population is at the whimsy of those in charge of the many, many false narratives surrounding attempts at artificial immunisation, Humanities and Social Sciences is perhaps the most natural field of science in which these issues would be considered.
