Serene Teffaha lodged her Class Action against the Victorian government on 19 March 2021 and soon afterwards the Victorian Legal Services Board (VLSB) cancelled her licence to practice law. This was done without providing any charges or wrongdoing by Serene Teffaha. The class action is against the Victorian government and the VLSB is the regulator for the Victorian government. Instead of following proper court processes they are seeking to shut the legal action down and silence the discussion of human rights in Australia.
The lawsuit that was filed was the Detention Towers Class Action for the false imprisonment of thousands of residents in nine public housing towers in inner Melbourne in July 2020. Please read this update of the events that have occurred to Serene since the VLSB removed her licence and the lack of due process that is occurring – Advocate Me Further Update and Clarification.
Also if you would like to support Serene Teffaha’s actions in standing up for human rights and democracy in Australia please listen to this video by Serene Teffaha updating her situation – Part 1 Head of the Snake and Part 2 Head of the Snake.
